The Dangerous Threats
Made by Iran
Those who have been following in the last few days the conspiracy of the Iranian government with several governments in the Western Hemisphere, especially Cuba and Venezuela, must be not only worried but angry at the subversive international relations that create a very dangerous precedent, to say the least, for the security of the free world, not only of the Western Hemisphere.
Obviously, the United States of America should be the most worried and is the one that should take specific and strong measures to confront this great conspiracy coordinated by the Castro brothers, Hugo Chávez and Ahmadinejad.
In the case of the Iranian threat to close the Strait of Hormuz if more sanctions are imposed to its government, the Asian nations would be the most affected because 85 percent of the oil leaving there is for its use and the rest mainly for Europe. Through that strait 17 million barrels of oil pass daily, which is 20 percent of all oil traded worldwide.
The government of the United States and the governments of Asia and Europe can not remain indifferent faced with the threat in the Strait of Hormuz that has very serious and challenging projections and implications for world peace.
The nuclear aspirations of the tyrannical government in Iran are huge and they will disrupt the balance of power in the region, perhaps in the world.
For many years the Persian Gulf, which still goes by the same name, has presented a situation – or a problem – depending on how you look at it, adverse to peace in that region of the world. Nowadays, with the new threats made by the Iranian tyranny this problem has become permanent and dangerous.
Every effort possible must be made to find solutions to the Iranian problem through negotiations brought to the table to discuss the fate of peace. And the Washington government has a serious responsibility to defend the substantial values of that peace.
