What Happened in Libya Should not Happen Again

The world has been shocked with indignation and sorrow by the events that took place a couple of days ago in Libya which included the death of the American Ambassador to that country together with three members of the embassy’s staff. In the light of sensible reasoning – setting aside ideological aberrations – the assassination of the American Ambassador in Libya and what has happened there has no justification or explanation. Of course, the civilized world is justifiably angered by these events.

There is international anguish which, minute by minute, hour by hour, causes concern and is being followed by all those who in one way or another are capable of analyzing what happened and condemn it with logical and fair explanations.

It is obvious that this was a specific aggression against the United States of American aside from the fact that the crimes were perpetrated in Libya. It also seems that although there were disturbances in front of the American consulate in Benghazi, supposedly provoked by a film that offended Muhammad, this attack was planned in advance to coincide with the anniversary of the brutal terrorist attack on American soil in September 11, 2011. From different places around the world people must be observing everything that, in one way or another, could be connected to what happened in Libya.

In all these parts of the world there should be facts to formulate an opinion, more or less right, to orient those who need to be oriented to find a solution to these problems and the future elimination of tragic and painful events of such magnitude. This is no easy task, far from it. But a way might be found to confront this gigantic conspiracy and crisis.

Hopefully, in Washington the American government, not only the State Department and the CIA, will do what is needed to reinforce all points around the world which are of special interest for the security and prestige of the United States of America.
