It is Important to Follow World Events Closely
All those in the world who are interested in the cause of peace and freedom, should follow closely national and international events to know, in time, what is going to happen for better or worse. Only thus will they be able to know what must be done – within what is possible – to avoid dangers and strengthen positive positions on behalf of peace and freedom.
Right now there is an abundance of more or less bad news although, of course, there are some positive ones. And in the face of this reality one must avoid disagreeable surprises by way of presence of mind and a timely analysis about what each situation represents.
Not being prepared to analyze what could happen now or in the near future is a serious mistake that could translate into inconveniences or harm for society.
Sometimes there are some who believe that foreseeing such a situation should specify the name of the country or of the society at risk. And, although this is not a mistake, it should be considered that it is necessary to engage in sensible speculation in the light of experience to confront future contingencies.
With due time, many community leaders should be concerned or interested in analyzing what could happen at any given moment that would be negative for their society. And this attitude is not to satisfy senseless curiosity, but to be able to prevent, after a sensible analysis, what is coming and what should be done to avoid a disagreeable situation that could have extremely serious characteristics.
Without undue optimism or negative pessimism, the leaders in each community must follow closely what is taking place and compare the situation with the past. This would not be something done out of simple curiosity, but a study, although not necessarily in depth, to help prevent or overcome any future calamity.
