Ideological Fanaticism
Against Western Civilization
It is urgent, indispensable, that the leaders of what has been the free world up to now set out to change their mind-set in terms of the security of this world that is so threatened by nations that are enemies of the West and are driven by a religious fanaticism with blind slogans that include individual or collective suicide to attain their goals. It must be clarified that it is not necessary to have a technical definition of what a nation is to identify legions of peoples who go from one place to the other with the same objectives and that practically constitute portable nations, so to speak. These people are joined by a doctrinal fanaticism that has no norms to check their determination, their ambition.
Nowadays, there are legions that have invaded Europe changing in many aspects the essences of the European nations. A nation is not only its territory. From a territorial point of view, Europe is still the same, but with a population that is not in line with what traditionally have been the characteristics of these European nations. For example, Great Britain and France have a significant Muslim presence although if you stick to the idea of percentages of the population it is not so high. But if we take into consideration the way in which these Muslims behave and how organized they are, we see that these are strong segments of the population capable of controlling, in an unfortunately not too distant future, these two nations and others of the same European continent that have similar problems. Naturally, we must not see an enemy in every Muslim, nor treat him like such. But with good instincts and knowledge about the characteristics of the problem, proper identification can be made, avoiding aberrations.
Now, the question should be what is the Western world, and the non Western world that is not Muslim, doing to defend itself? It is important to realize that a strategy must be planned, in many cases going beyond what is known as strategy in the military, to embrace into sociopolitical concepts methods that go outside traditional orthodoxy to confront a multifaceted conspiracy that uses terrorism, to destabilize nations that are in danger of being taken over even though they might have modern technology.
An effort must be made to adapt the defense of Western values to the harsh reality of the attacks.
